4/4/12
I love writing as assignment where the word limit is 500 words including the bibliography (which at the moment is almost at 150 lol) and where the books I’ve borrowed from the library has been annotated from the last few people who obviously did the exact same assignment. It sure makes life a hell of a lot easier when you’ve got your own Half-blood Prince :)
Last day tomorrow before the Easter break! Yay!

IT’S 9.45PM AND I’M SOOOOOO TIRED D:
Normally I don’t get tired til past midnight to early in the morning and then it hit why I feel so zombie like - I didn’t take a nap at like 5-6 like when I do everyday lol
Last week of class starts tomorrow before mid-term break, yay! I’ve planned to catch up with some friends who aren’t at the same uni as me or are at different campuses so I’m really looking forward to that :)
I think ima just go shower and jump in bed because my eyes feel soooo heavy atm gahh

I WENT AND SAW THE HUNGER GAMES TODAYYYYYY!!!!! :D :D :D
I’ve been waiting for this day for literally months and months on end and finally I got to see it AND IT WAS AMAZEBALLS!!
The cast and the crew were amazing and it was absolute perfection. Gary Ross, I will bow down and kiss your feet any day. And ohmygosh Jennifer Lawrence really does deserve all the praise that she is getting. She WAS Katniss Everdeen and even in real life I love her sense of humour and her down-to-earth attitude towards things unlike some other people *coughkristenstewartcough* And holyfrigginsugarnuts Josh Hutcherson was just *drools*. Firstly I loved Peeta, I had ever since reading the books but Josh just made me fall head over heels for a character on the movie screen. There’s just no words to how I can describe how brilliant this movie was. ARGHH!!!
And to top of a great night, I found out that they are making The Host into a movie!! Something just told me to check again whether this was gonna be made into a film and turns out the first teaser was released today! I know its a Stephanie Meyer book and there’s already comparisons about with Twilight but I loved, loved, loved The Host (it is NOT Twilightish at all, plus its a 100, a zillion times better). I have to admit though that when I first for the book I read the first few chapters and just didn’t enjoy so I just stopped reading. About half a year later, I must have ran out of books to read so I decided to give it another go and trust me, the first 100 pages aren’t too good, a bit hard to understand whats going on, but push past that and its one of the best reads you’ll have had. From memory I started it one night, read it in bed till about 2am, forced myself to go to sleep, couldn’t sleep so I stayed up till the morning and finished the book. There were parts too which had me tissues in hand, crying my heart out and I could not stop. Of all the books I had read, I remember finishing it and immediately wanting a movie adaption of it (I remember searching the internet to see if it was going to be made into a film too - but they didn’t then).
So yes, a book nerd like me (I went and got 3 new books yesterday and yet I still have about 20-30 new books that I’ve collected but haven’t gotten around to reading on my bookshelf - omygosh I hoard books too I just realised D:) is just on top of the world at the moment. Now off to bed cause I gotta do an essay tomorrow + do some revision for a test Monday before I can head out tomorrow night for a friends 18th! Gahh life of a uni student!

Man its been awhile.
I’ve pretty much been trying to settle right back down after a three month holiday to getting up early, going to class and doing assignments/reading.
It’s been hard.
My problem right now? Having to cut down 200 more words so I have a 500 word essay gahhh. At first I was like, 500 words, that’s plenty to play around with and now I’m sitting here crying because I don’t know if firstly I wrote the essay right and secondly which paragraphs to cut out + I just remembered I haven’t done an intro or conclusion.
It feels so weird to actual have basically finished my work early though - its not due to Thursday and I’m done on a Tuesday :D I was always one of those kids who did everything last minute and felt that I could never change the habit, but I’ve been doing bits and pieces over the weekend and yesterday so I’m actually done now. AND I DON’T FEEL STRESSED AT ALL D: Maybe I should have listened to the teachers (and inner me!) and finished assignments and stuff early because I’m sitting here ready to go to bed on time for once lol and not stressing out because it’s not due tomorrow and it ain’t 3am lol.
But otherwise, I’m settling in nicely (I hope!), slowly getting to know people in my lectures/tutes and working my way through the workload. I can’t believe we’re in Week 4 already and mid-semester break is like 2 weeks away (I can take a breather!)
AND I’M SEEING THE HUNGER GAMES THIS SATURDAYYYY WOOOT! I’VE REREAD THE BOOK ON THE W/E AND AM READY TO DELVE INTO THE WORLD OF PANEM!! SO EXCITED~
FEELING VERY HAPPY RIGHT NOW :D

1/5/12
Guess who’s sick once again. Yep, guilty.
The doctor says I’ve just caught a cold but I swear my throat feels like its battling a war, one minute my nose is block and the next its Niagara Falls, my body feels weak as well and all I wanna do is sleep.
The good thing with Uni is that there are no 8.30am-3.30pm days, I only go in for max of 4 hours each day and then I can chill/catch up with people or go home and sleep. Like tomorrow I’m only in for an hour from 3pm-4pm for a Marketing lecture and I’m home again :D
So its 11.11pm now (make a wish!) and ima go take a shower and then snuggle up in bed with a hot water bottle because it makes me feel better :)
27/02/12 - First day
So besides from taking ages to find a parking spot, rain pouring down, blisters on my feet because I grabbed the wrong flats to walk around in, first day of uni was pretty damn good :)
I only had the one 2-hour lecture today which was Korean Introductory and I can already tell I’m really going to like it. The first hour was just house-keeping stuff and for the next we learnt like 8 phrases? The lecturer was really funny and most of all its interesting to me so two hours went by really quickly.
So yeh, here’s to a great first year and not getting lost too much :)
